"Earthquake Disaster"

 Earthquake causes a great disaster. It is a sudden movement of a part of the earth's surface caused by deep crack in the earth or by volcanic eruption. Some regions of the earth are prone to earthquake while others are comparatively safe from this natural disaster. Some countries like Japan, Iran etc are frequently hit by earthquake. Houses and bridges in these countries are built shock - proof. Forecast regarding the occurrence of earthquake is not possible . A severe earthquake causes widespread destruction of houses and properties. People are crushed under the broken houses. Often several quakes hit a place at short intervals . So after a quake people live in tents on open field. When a severe quake hits a populous city thousands of people are killed and injured. Many people are trapped in the broken houses and it takes days to rescue them. The only way to get rid of the ravages of this natural disaster is to build houses, bridges and roads in such a way that they can resist the tremors.



"The Possibilities of Earthquake in Bangladesh"

Earthquake is one of the most common natural disasters on earth. Earthquake is an abrupt movement of a part of the Earth's surface. It is caused by deep creack in the earth or by volcanic eruption. If there is any fault line in a geographical area , there has a great chance of occuring earthtukes in that area. And it causes great disaster. In Bangladesh, there are two schools of experts on earthquake. One group of experts think that there is no possibility of occuring major earthquake in Bangladesh. The other group of experts opine in the different way. They think that Bangladesh is in the active zone of earthquake. Now it is frequently occur in Bangladesh. The people of Bangladesh are not aware of the danger of earthquake. Most of the buildings of our country will be destroyed if they are not built in accordance with an earthquake resistant building code. A group of experts opine that the repetition of quakes in recent years should be taken as a signal for a major earthquake. So, in order to protect us from this impending danger we must be conscious about the causes and results of earthquake. We should not build house without the advice of expert so that it can survive in the event of an earthquake. The Government should take steps for this disaster. The Government should develop earthquake resistant building code that all buildings should follow as mandatory.

He renders a very valuable service to the the ill-fed, ill- td, ill-healthed and ill-housed village people.  His qualification : A village doctor is generally a quack. He now passes for a doctor after modern fashion. A village doctor works with a qualified doctor for few years and receive raining under him. Then he comes to his native village and begins practising as doctor.  His dispensary : A village doctor opens his dispensary either in the parlour of his house or in a room in the village market. He has in his dispensary a table, a chair, one or two almirah with a small stock of medicine and one or two benches for his patients. He does not take the service of a compounder. Paragraph~ "The Victory Day" & "Tree Plantation"

"The Victory Day" The 16th December is a red letter day in the history of Bangladesh. On this day, we won victory at the cost of a bloody battle of nine months . We celebrated the last 'Victory Day' in our institute very gorgeously. Our teachers cordially helped us in the arrangement. On the 15th December, we decorated every corner of the institute compound with green leaves, festoons and coloured papers. Adequate seating arrangements were made for the teachers and students. Under the guidance of our physical instructor and some other teachers we fixed the items. We started the celebration by hoisting the national flag. Immediately after this the march past took place and the Principal of our institute took the salute. Then they sang the national anthem. We also arranged a discussion meeting and a cultural function.
